Hello all! This is a little side story that takes place DURING the events of the first Thread and it's arcs. Meaning that all posts should have some tie back into the main story. HOWEVER! The first and main rule of this side story is: There is NO fighting whatsoever.
For now, this Side Story arc is simply here to get to know the characters better, add drama, love interests, comedy, and the random grudge matches between rivals. (But no fighting in the sence of battles and whatnot)
If this keeps up and become a nice addition, I'll sub-divide this into more threads for more specific people or emotions. For now this is a trial run, I guess so enjoy and play nice!
Here's the start:
Josh Light (A.k.a. Mega Man X) Started out his day in a more enjoyable fasion than usual because there was no reports about any Maverick breakouts. He was able to eat a nice breakfast and while nothing to crazy was happening, decided to take a nice stroll into the city of Den Tech. Everything seemed pretty normal for a city of the 22XX Century. However, though his day started out nice it would soon fall into a set of carzy events. The start of it all was when Tron just so happened to bump into him. "Oh! Hi, Josh!" she said. "Oh, hello Tron. What are you doing out today?" Josh replied. "I was gathering some groceries for dinner tonight for everyone. It's a lot to get really" she said. "Well if you need any help, I'd be happy to lend a hand. Nothing is going on today and I have some free time." Josh answered. Tron's face became a little red at the thought of the idea, but then decide to agree. While they both went off to do some shopping, neither of them knew that they were being watched.
"Heheheheheheh!! I knew it!! They're sceretly meeting to go on a date!!! This is awesome data!!" The laughing person hiding as a young man at a resturant, was really none other than Axl, spying as usual. And while he was really happy to dig up the dirt and stuff, he was at the same time, horribly sad. The reason? Well...that would be the two sitting across from him, Marino and Roll.
Eariler, Roll and Marino both had been watching Josh and Tron as they headed out from the base on the "Apparent" pretext of shopping and just doing some scouting, and both of the girls suppected a sceret meeting to a date! Roll and Marino wanted to see if they were right and so far, they were....at least to them. "Don't lose them Axl!" said Marino! "Yes! We have to keep tabs on them!" said Roll. Axl just sighed and remembered how he was dragged by force of will into this little game. "Why do I have to do it!?" said Axl. However, the evil glares from both of the girls got Axl to just shut up and follow Josh and Tron while they went shopping.

Josh was enjoying helping out Tron. Honestly, for the most part he enjoyed it because it made him fell a bit like a regular guy helping out a friend, instead of the apparent only owner of the suit of armor created by the late Dr.Light and in a lot of cases the only hope for peace. Josh never liked fighting and he remembered when he found out he was chosen by his dad and grandpa to be the next Mega Man and fight. When you go throughout life only fighting and trying to restore a fragile peace, any little peace you get yourself is very nice to have. X's thoughts apparently showed through to Tron, because she broke his train of thought and asked if he was alright. "It's nothing. I was just thinking to myself" Josh said. "Are you sure?" asked Tron. "Yeah, don't worry about it. Where to next?" said Josh. Tron then led Josh into another store which seemed to be on of those health stores.
While all of this was going on, neither Tron or Josh saw Marino and Axl dressed in Sherlock Holmes outfits, trying to stalk them. Both were also wearing fake mustashes and were in fact, standing out more than anything. As a old man walked by, Roll said to Marino, "What date ends up in a tofu store?" Marino replied," Well, I always did think Tron was a little weird." She then grabed the old man, who acted like he was being choked and said," Knock it off, Axl and get in there and see what's going on!!!" The old man, who was really Axl said," I was trying but some crazy green-haired girl decided to choke me!" "Hmm? Did you say something?" asked Marino. Axl just cried. Roll then shoved Axl and said "get in there already!!"
This in fact set a nice little chain of events that started to make the day a bit more complacted. As Axl was shoved into the store, he flew into one of the racks that was holding up the produce and it in turned hit another which hit another like a set of dominos. At the other end of this chain, was Josh as Tron, in which Tron was directly in the way. As Josh saw what was going on, he tried to push Tron out of the way, however, not being in his armor, he wasn't fast enough. In order to protect her, Josh opted to get in the way of the falling racks which only pushed Josh into Tron.
By the time it was all over, the store was a mess, Axl was being helped up by some people who though he was an old man, the store owners were yelling, and Josh was on top of Tron holding back the racks that were trying to fall. The scene was very embarssing to Tron who was blushing and only made Josh feel that more uncomfortable. Josh was eventually able to push the rack back and he and Tron were able to get out from the mess. However, the both of them were strangly and awkardly quiet, while Marino and Roll were trying to take pictures and gather data on the whole ordeal.

During the ordeal with Josh and Tron, Shokunin(A.k.a. Zero) was just leaving the training room for where he was pacticing his kendo. As he was heading toward the showers, he suddenly got the feeling that he was being watched. Shokunin spun around but saw no one. He shurged and went on walking, turing down the hall. What he didn't see was Layer, hiding on the other side of the wall, blushing and her heart beating fast because she was almost caught. She slid down to a sitting position and tried to slow her breathing. "He didn't see you....you're okay...breathe" she said to herself. As soon as she regained her composure, she truned to get up and start her apparent stalking again. However, as she turned her head and looked up she saw Shokunin standing above her, not a couple of inches from her. She immediately turned red, jumped back and her heart rate went through the roof.
"What are you doing?" asked Shokunin. "Uh...well...I..I...um.." Layer stammered. "Were you stalking me this whole time?" Shokunin asked. "Uh...well...no...you see...um..."Layer stammered again. If it was possible she turned more red and her heart beated faster. "I..I...I wanted to tell you..."She tried to say. "Yes? Tell me what?" asked Zero looking puzzled. "Uh...um...YOU'RE ARMOR'S FIXED AND READY!!!" she shouted and without another word, jumped up and ran, leaving a confused Shokunin. He stood there for a second and then just shrugged, figured that's how Layer always was, then turned around and went back to what he was doing earlier.
All, those characters and you don't have some story to put them in?? Like a normal day for them or somthing?? lol.
Story:
Layer was freaking out. Zero got the better of her again and he probably knew it. At least that's what she thought. She was usually calm and cool-headded in normal situations, but when it came to Zero, she just...didn't know what to do. She really didn't mean to scream at him like that and now she was afraid that he would be mad at her for yelling at him and then running off. She sighed and decided to head back to the Command Room and sulk.
When to doors opened and she entered the Command Room, Alia and Nana could easily see that Layer was troubled. Her blue hair was covering her face and she just quietly entered the room, went to her chair, sat down and just started to work. Alia could tell that Nana wanted to say somthing to Layer and ask what was the matter, even both of them knew what was wrong..Zero. Instead, Alia figured that she would do something first. She turned to Nana and said, " I just heard something really interesting about Shokunin, you know!" Nana quickly caught the hint and asked," Really what?" "It looks like Shokunin really has a problem with cooking. He's always trying to improve his fighting skills that he never has the time to cook and a lot of the times he just has to settle for whatever he can get." said Alia. "Really? That's so sad. If only someone could help him, like maybe cook for him or something?" replied Nana. Nana was about to turn and ask layer what she thought about the subject, but just as she did, she noticed that Layer was no longer in her chair and the Command Room doors just shut. "Heheheh, boy, that was easy." sighed Alia. Nana had to agree, it sure was easy to get Layer's spirit up when it invloved Zero. But as she though of that, something else just crossed her mind. "Um...Alia?" said Nana. "Yeah, what?" asked Alia as she resumed her work. "Uh....does Layer know how to cook?" saked Nana. With that both Navigators stopped what they were doing and looked at each other with dread on their faces....

It was a normal day at the resistance base, Cain doing some training, Rena cooking stuff, Ciela throwing bombs at Cain(lol)and the other stuff the resistance do in a normal day.
Cain was using an ordinary armor, his real armor, the TYPE-GX 00 KNight-blade, was being repaired by Zeppet. Cain went back to his room, looking at a picture of Elice. Rena entered the room to give Cain some food. Rena: Whos that in the picture. Cain: No one. Rena: Come on, I can see her. Cain: *sigh* Her name is Elice. Enough said.
Rena left the room and she was a bit curious.
Ciela was taking a break after the bomb throwing.

It was heading toward evening. Tron had allowed the stuff the bought the be directly warped to the base so the only thing they really had to do was pretty much what they wanted. Both Tron and Josh were walking slowly in the direction of the base, though both were akwardly silent. Josh tried several times to talk to Tron, either to say sorry or just to try to get her to talk. However, when he uaually did, either Tron tried to to the same at the same time, or he was just to embarressed to do anyhting. Most of the time, they would try to say somthing, look at each other and remember what happened that day and turn away, red in the face. Josh wanted to break the ice and tried to talk to Tron, but everytime he tried, he just kept stumbling over himself. While he was thinking of a way to talk to Tron, he suddenly heard "Thank you." He turned and saw Tron who was smilling back at him. She suddenly turned beat red, looked away and said," I...I..mean..for.saving me.." "Hahaha! No problem. I just didn't want you to get hurt." he replied. "B-But, what about you? I'm sure you were probably hurt in the process." Tron said. "Nah. I'm a bit tougher then I look."Josh said "Hey, look!" Josh pointed to what appeared to be the yearly carinval. "Ahh!!! Cool!" said Tron. "Wanna go check it out?" asked Josh. "Yes!" said Tron. And with that the both of them headded toward the fair together.
Meanwhile, Axl was still more of less out of it, due to what happened before. Not that Marino or Roll really cared either way. Both were to busy sighing over watching Josh and Tron. "Man! I wish I could have a boyfriend like that!" said Roll. "Me too!" said Marino. "I just wish you two would leave me alone and let me go back home..."Sighed Axl. "TOO BAD!" replied both of the girls and with that they grabbed the screaming Axl and they headed for the fair as well.
After eating his dinner, Cain went to his room and he slept. And he had a dream..... Elice: Cain... Cain: Wha? Elice: You of all beings should know... That death is just a transformation. *Cain only heard Elice's voice, he coudn't see her.* Elice: I will always be with you. *Cain walked into different worlds, well, its just a dream, you know.* Elice: But to appreciate my existance, you must let me go. Elice: Here in your fiery heart, you must face your demons, burn them away. Cain: I can't.... Elice: Death is something you should not fear. Cain: You're right. I've been way too out of focus... I drifted away from my true purpose... Shadow demons: AHHWIIUEUSHDJ!!!!! *K.O.* Elice: Even without me, someone else loves you. *Cain wakes up* Cain:.....What does she mean by that?

Story:
Zero was annoyed. He just got through working out and then decided to head to the Data Room to see what was going on that day and if any Maverick activity has been spotted. However, he couldn't work at at all. Shokunin wasn't a ninja, but he could tell that everytime he moved to check the data or just to look at another screen of data, someone behind him would freak out and try to dissapear behind a wall. Form the blurs that he caught out just out of his sight, he firgued it was Pallate. "Now what?" he thought to himself. What is the problem with the Navigators today? First Layer and now this! Shokunin sighed and decided to get to the bottom of this.
Pallate was just able to calm herself down. She was sure that Shokunin didn't see her, which was good. How was she going to try to get Shokunin down to the kitchen in time? Pallate finally decided that she should just go in ask tell Shokunin that dinner was ready...wait...that wouldn't work. Tron was cooking today and she wasn't back yet. Then she got another idea! She could just do what Layer did the last time and tell him it was his turn to clean the kitchen! Pallate jumped up and started to run into the room. However, as soon as she turned the corner, she slammed right into Shokunin.
"What are you doing, Pallete? asked Shokunin. "Uh..uh...uh.."stammered Pallete. She was starting to freak out. Shokunin crouched down and looked directly at Pallate. "Oiy, calm down and tell me what's going on." said Shokunin. Now Pallete was freaking out. She tried to say what she was planning to say but...Shokunin looked mean and was scary. "Uh...uh...Zero...um..I-It's...." she stammered. "What?"said Shokunin. Why was she freaking out? He just wanted to know what she wanted. Finally Oallate just screamed," YOU GOTTA GO TO THE KITCHEN!!!" and with that ran off. Shokunin's ears were ringing from the yelling and was a little out of it. He then sighed and said to himself," Why me?"
Cain decided to walk outside. He saw an "instant theme park" and went there. But when he got there, everything was destroyed.
Cain: What just happened? Owner: A woman just threw bombs at everything!! Cain: (-_-') (Must be Ciela...)
Cain rushed back into the base and looked for Ciela. Cain noticed it but Rena was following Cain.
Cain: Stop hiding, Rena. I know you're there. Rena: But how? Cain: You don't need to ask. By the way, wheres Ciela? Rena: Oh, she went to the near by bomb shop earlier, and she was talking something about an explosive testing area. Cain (Just great...)

By nightfall, everyone had returned. X had helped Tron unpack her groceries and put everything away, before saying good night and heading up to bed. Tron however, while she said she was heading to bed, didn't. She was apparently too excited from the days events. "Today was really fun." Tron said. " I really didn't expect Josh to help me out the whole day. He was really nice...." she giggled to herself.
Meanwhile, another person was up late that night. She saw Josh and Tron entering the base together and talking, and it kinda stuck to her mind. "I'm sure they didn't go into the city together...." she thought to herself. She sighed and chuckled to herself and said," I'm just worriny too much about it.....yeah...." and with that, she slowly walked to her bed.....
Axl was already asleep and snoring. Though, his leg was bandaged up and standing on the arm of the sofa he was sleeping on. Marino and Roll were sitting across from him, still a little mad. "I can't believe he was dumb enough to fall of the ride at the park." Marino said. "Well, you did kinda push him." replied Roll. " I didn't! I was just trying to help." said Marino. "Well....what are we going to do?" asked Roll. Marino sighed and looked in the direction of Tron's room. And got up, streached and the turned to Roll and said," I dunno. I'm not too sure what we can really do." Roll picked up her drink and took a sip. "You think this may get a bad as I think it will..?" Neither one wanted to answer that question.
The next morning was pretty usual. Josh woke up, showered, ate breakfast with everyone and then began his routine of scouting, doing paperwork, and the usual Maverick battles that come and go. By mid-morning everything got a little interesting with the arrival of Ryonen of the Cyber Gardians. It had been a while seen Josh had seen Ryo and was glad to have him stop by on his visit. However, by the afternoon, everything decended into a lot of chaos, as the main computer was hacked and a group of unmaned suits, or something that Josh had never seen before attacked the base. Along with them came an apparent new ally, Cain Greywood. With his and CX's help, Josh was able to beat back everything and by that evening, Josh was tired. But of course, so was everyone else. Josh could also tell that Tron as well as the rest od the girls around the base were a little tense. He figured it was from all the fighting, but in truth he was only partialy correct. Josh entered the cafetera in hopes of finding someting to make for dinner, but was surprised to see that Alia was already working on making some food for everyone. "Hey, Alia!" said Josh. He apparently suprised her because she jumped at hearing her name being called. She turned around and relaxed as soon as she saw Josh. "O-Oh..hi Josh." she said. "Sorry if I interrupted you." he replied. "No, no! I was just thinking and I didn't hear you come in." she said. "Oh. I see." he said. "Well, do you need any help?" Alia stared blankly at him for a second. "Haha! No really!" Josh said. " I mean, I know I'm not a good cook, but I can still do some stuff around a kitchen." he said and picked up an egg on the table. Alia smiled and said," haha, it's okay really. I'm just about done with the hardest part and I just have to wait for everything to cook." Josh sighed and said," Man, you girls really don't believe me huh?" Alia smiled and said, " Well if you really want to help, I do need some soy sauce from the store. We seem to be out and I wasn't able to tell Tron yeesterday to pick some up. Josh, jumped up and said," Well then, I'm you man!" Alia blushed at the thought and said," U-uh..well you better hurry! The food will be ready soon!" Josh nodded and then ran out the door saying," No prob! I'm on it!!" Alia just shook her head and smiled.
Alia was still thinking about what Josh had said by the time he had returned. In fact, she was so deep in thought that she didn't hear him come in. "Alia?" said X and she jumped. The spoon she had in her hand shot up into the air and landed on Josh's head. Josh started to jump around because of the very hot sauce that was on the spoon had also landed on his head. "Aaahh!!!! Ouch!! Hot!!!" shouted Josh. At first, Alia was shocked and started to apologize for what had happened. However, she soon started to burst into laughter as Josh accidently ran into the fridge and then fell to the ground. still laughing, Alia said," Are you okay?" Josh got up and said, "Heh, only my pride. Wait. Why are you laughing at me!?" Alia stood there for a moment and then started to laugh even more. Josh just sighed. "Sorry." she said," You just looked funny." Josh turned and said, "Well, if you're happy then I guess it's okay." At first, Alia didn't know what to say but Josh continued as he unpacked the grocerices,"You were looking a little sad when I got here. Everything okay?" Alia blushed and stammered." U-uh...t-that was..um.." Josh just looked at her with a blank expression. "I-I was j-just thinking! That's all..."said Alia as she turned around to check on the sauce. "Oh, well, if you say so. Glad everything's okay." replied Josh. Alia was still cooking and just nodded. "Dinner will be ready soon." she said. "Cool! I'll let everyone know! Be right back" replied Josh as he dashed out the door. "Ah! Wait!" said Alia, but it was too late. Josh had already went out the door, out of earshot. Alia sighed and decided to continue her work. Just then, the door opened again, and Alia thinking it was Josh who probably forgot somthing, quickly went towards the door and said," Forget somthing?" smiling. However, the person who entered the door was not Josh, but Kei. Kei looked at her in what appeared as shock. "Ah...uh..sorry. I though you were someone else!" said Alia. Kei just stared back at her with a blank expression. "Um...y-you see....uh..."she stammered. Kei just looked back at her, and Alia started to freak out more, before finally calming down. The ending of her entire epsoide ended in,"..You really shouldn't scare someone you know." Kei just looked back and then said," What's for dinner?" To which Alia freaked out again, just relising that she left her cooking unatended.
You have yet to see my true strength!!!
