Ryonen, aka Cyber X, was finally realizing what had happened a few hours ago...The battle was far over by now, he thought as he lay in the ruins of what was left of the city....Gondoa, his land..the land he swore to protect..lay in ruins all around him. He saw nothing moving in the entire city...He was the only one left there..."NO!!!!" Ryonen shouts, as he jumps to his feet. He grabs his comunitactor, and starts to warn the X-Team of the inevitable attack.......

It was a peceful day in the city of Den Tech. X was walking down the street, making his usual rounds around the city. So far, there wasn't a Maverck attack in 3 months. After that battle with Sigma, it seemed like peace was finally restored. It was nice to walk down a street and now worry about an explosion or something else.
X: *Sigh* Yep...peaceful....
Just as the word left his mouth, he suddenly receive a call from Alia. X quickly activated his Com. and said,"X here. What's up, Alia?"
She replied,"We have a destress call coming in. X, it's from Cyber X!!"
Stunned, X replied," CX? Whay would he be calling? Patch him through!"
"Roger", responded the Navigator. And with that a fuzzy screen with a barly visible Cyber X appeared.
CX: X! X! Come i...hear...??
X:CX! I can barly hear you! What's going on!?
CX:..y're..comin...you..hav....rea...
And with that the communications were dropped. "Blast it", replied X. "What going on over there, CX...? Alia reappeared on screen and said,"I can barly get a tracking siginal on him, X. He's just East of Gondoa and heading for Den Tech.
"Get a rescue team to him now. Have Zero go with them and put the Team on Yellow Alert. Something is coming.", ordered X. Alia qucikly replied,"Roger, moving a Resuce Team now. I'll start preping everyone, Alia out."
As X quickly began dashing towards the base the thought,"....Well...so much for peaceful.."
meanwhile, Cyber X was heading towards Den Tech, trying to gather his thoughts along the way. "What happened...I can't remember anything..." he thought as he slowly limped towards the west. "BEEP BEEP BEEP, warning, Cyber X power level .5%, organic health critical." At this moment, Ryo looks down at himself, realizing how bad he really looked...blood pouring from multiple wounds, broken ribs, shoulder, and possibly a broken leg..he was unsure at the moment, he didn't really care. All he was worried about was alerting X the best he could..
"What's that?" he says aloud to himself. Hmm...Eh? Zero!! Yes, they're here! Z: Cyber, what on Earth happened to you? CX I don't really know.. Going my way...? Z Yea, hop in, and try to remember what happened...ok? this place is a mess!

X suddenly saw a bright falsh of light that quickly subsided into the interior of the X-Team's HeadQuarters that he had become used to. As he stepped out of the warp pad, he saw Alia and Nana typing away at their comps.
X:Status?
The purple reploid, Layer, reported,"Zero has just contacted us. He's has CX and they are both on their way. However, CX is in critial condition." X replied,"Have Lifesaver get MedBay ready. What's the status of Gondoa?" Alia quickly said,"It's all ruined! Buildings have been destoryed, the attack was so massive." Nana quickly jumped in and said,"We've notified the Federation and they are sending rescue units as we speak."
X replied,"Good, as soon as CX is here, I want to speak with him. We have to know just what happened here..."

As the rescue team that had found CX made it's way through Den Tech, he realizes how much things have changed in the last three or four years its been since he's been here. they arrive at the base, and Ryo is rushed out of the truck into the MedBay, where he is immediately attended to. X: "Cyber, it's good to see you...Just not this way, you know?" CX: "Yea, same here..." X: "What happened, where did the attack come from, who was it?" CX: "I don't know, X... I don't remember anything, the last thing I remember is waking up in the ruins, torn apart....I'm sorry..I should've been on full alert, it was my duty....I'm so sorry, now something's coming for the rest of us..." X: "Hmmm....is there anyway for us to find out what happened...?" CX: "My helmet cam, i was in my armor for most the fight, I'm sure, the suit was wrecked pretty harshley, but I'm sure we can pull some of the video from it, maybe we can see what we're up against..." X: "Alia-" Alia: "I'm already setting up for it..."

Alia activated her computer data and accessed CX's video data. "Okay, I'm about to put the images on screen....now",she said. Just then, the video appeared and began to run the video. X saw the battle as CX tried to stop an overwelming swarm of what looked to be Mavericks. It seemed to be going well, until an unknown figure suddenly appeared and knocked CX out. The video ended after that.
X:....well that helped a lot. Alia: Sorry, that was about all I could get. I'll run a scan on the Mavericks though. Perhaps I can figure who they were and from where. X:Thanks Alia! CX:Sorry man. X:Don't worry about it. Ge some rest, we'll probably need you help later.
CX nodded and went to sleep as X left the room. As he did he activated his Com. and halled Zero.
Zero: Zero here, what's up X? X: Get the Team ready, Zero. We've got trouble. Zero: CX know what happened? X: No, he was knocked out pretty quickly. Zero: That's not good. It takes a lot to beat him. X: Yeah, I know Zero: Right, I'll start shifts right away. X: Thanks Zero. X out.
As X headded out to H.Q.s Command Room he felt that whatever was about to happen, it was going to be very big.
CX awakens, his mind a blaze, he's been out for days. He looks around so fearfully, not a soul in the room, none to see... He's unsure of what has him frightened, but something was stirring with his dreams. He looks down, and the wound that was dressed when he arrived was bleeding, something jarred the wound open again..he noticed he was in cold sweats, his vision blurred, his balance even while sitting was impared..something was very wrong....His head falls, and his monitors connected to him begin to give a lound continuous beep, and the line on the monitor goes completely horizontal.
Alia: x, get here now, it's CX, his monitors have flat lined, somethings wrong, we need help here!!!!

As X intered the room, he saw Lifesaver already working on CX. X:What's his status? Lifesaver:He'll live. I have restrained him this time around. X:What? Lifesaver turned and looked at X,"He woke up and broke the stiching. I have fixed him however." As Lifesaver turned to leave he said,"You humans are interesting. It seems it takes more to hold him than a regular human." X replied,"Yeah, that CX."
Alia walked in and said,"How's he doing?" X: He's fine, just being a pain as usual. Alia: But, his Telemetry system.. X: Don't worry about it, Lifesaver took care of him. I'm glad he dispatches himself quickly. Alia: Yeah, if only he had a better bedside manner.. X:Hahahaha, yeah I guess.
X turns to look at CX who is all but cemented onto the bed and replied,"and a bit better with restraining someone." Alia looked on in shock. X then said,"I'm going to see if we still have some of CXs data in the mainframe, when he wakes up, he'll need his armor back a 100%." Alia replied,"Nana would be in chare of that area."
X:Right, I'll go take to her then. Alia: I'm heading back to the Command Center then as well. X: Cool. Inform me of any new reports. Alia: Right!
Cyber X awakens to sound of an alarm sounding off in the base with flashing red lights, he jumps up and rushes to the command room to see X and Zero standing next to Alia who was fast at work at her computer..
CX: what's going on here, X? X: we have a hacker in the network... Alia: i don't have any controls, im locked out of the system!

Meanwhile, Sonic Zero was at an open field, just east from Den Tech. He saw hundreds of mavericks charging at him...
Sonic Zero: ....... This isn't my day. * releases his Vesper swords, ready to fight anything that opposes him. * * Sonic Zero uses the Finally to Destruction, destroying 99.99% of them.*
??: So, you came, Cain Greywood. Sonic Zero: Who are you? Reaper: I am H-EX-ARMS 00, also known as Reaper. Sonic Zero: Wait...HEXA? The 66th special airborne unit?! Reaper: That is right. My mission is to eliminate the sole survivor of the 13th independent armored platoon, and that is none other than you!! * attacks Sonic Zero *

"Just how badly are you shut out of the system?" asked X. Alia replied," I have very minium control. From this point, I don't see how to get the system back up unless we do a complete restart." X was stunned. "But...but that'll..." he stammered. "Exactly. It'll re-set everythig and to get everything back to running order will take a week at least." said Alia.
CX the stepped foward and said," No. There's another way. I can enter the network directly with my "Cyber World" tech and stop the attack directly." Zero truned to CX and said," But if you do that, you threaten to do more damage to the system and to yourself!" "It can't be helped. It's either this or haveing the entire base on Red Alert for more than a week, and we can't have that." CX walked to a computer mainframe and said," I'll try to be quick." He then began to charge his energy and truned back to the other's with a grin," Don't worry. I won't make any mistakes to the network. My skills have improved a lot since we last met." Everyone looked as CX reached full power and the shouted," CYBER WORLD!" before disapearing into data.
"Alright, Alia, you and the other Navigators back CX up. Zero, we've got a hacker to find." said X. Everyone, nodded in agreement to their orders and everyone split up to begin all their roles.
Meanwhile, CX successfully entered the Network Mainframe. As soon as he arrived he received a call on his com. "This is CX." he replied. "Good! You made it!" said Alia." The other Navigators will be spotting for you while you're in here. Layer will be providing a map layout. Palatte will be scanning and giving you info on enemys that you encounter and I will have you're mission pinpoint data. Nana will also be keeping an eye out for traps. You all set?" " Yeah, I'm ready to go!" replied CX " Beginning the mission!" And with that, CX charged forward to stop the network attack....
Cain fainted after Reaper's attack,and he was sent to the X-team (WTF?!).
Cain: Where am I? Zero: I see that you're awake now. Cain: (obviously..) Zero: Who are you? Cain: I'm Cain Greywood, (Codename Sonic Zero) And you are? Zero: Zero. Anyway can you help us with something? Cain: Sure.

CX was doing fairly well within the network, so far. There were a lot of viruses due to the hacker, but with the Navigators spotting for him, he was ready for them. That was, until he entered another area of the Network. As he turned the corner he saw nothing but an endless swarm of viruses. "Oh great." he said to himself. "Alia! I think I just found the heart of the attack." he said. "Roger! We're picking it up now." she replied
"Nana! we're going to have to start attacking this directly!" said Alia. Nana jumped off console and headed to another one and said," Roger!" Alia also got up and headed for another mainframe next to her. She turned to Layer and Pallate before she entered and said," Layer, Pallate you still back up CX." Both Navigators nodded and went back to work.
CX activated his buster and readied himself before he attacked. "CX! Nana and myself are going into attack mode to help you fight off the viruses. While we take care of them, you can attack the hacker directly." said Alia. As as she did, a bunch of anti-virus programs suddenly appared and began to attack the viruses. "I understand." replied CX. And with that he dashed foward into the fray. Something began to bother him in the back of his mind, though. The X-Team's Network wasn't an easy place to hack. Whoever and whatever was able to get in here, wouldn't be an easy fight....
Meanwhile, Zero was still talking to the Mr. Cain Greywood he found collapsed outside of Den Tech. He had suffered some strong attacks, but looked in good health. "You recover quickly." said Zero. Cain didn't say anything, but just stared at Zero. "You said you needed me for somthing?" he asked. "Yes. that's right." said Zero. "I want to know who attacked you and why?" said Zero. "We've experencied an increase in Maverick activity and I want to know why you were out there in the first place and how you got those wounds." said Zero.
Okay okay edited. I was watching a Mega Man X spoof so, I got carried away with MMHQ.
Cain:........The 66th special airborne unit, well known as H-EX-ARMS, or HEXA Force. They are not mavericks, but a special unit by a mysterious nation. Zero:I see... Who attacked you? Cain: The leader, a reploid with no name, who likes to call himself "Reaper". Zero: So, why were you out there (I feel like a psychiatrist...)? Cain: A mission... To destroy that nation... Zero:.....
Zero's "theraphy" somehow helped get information.
Alia: I'm detecting a strong electromagnetic interferance! X:Ummm... Where? Alia: The location is unknown!
Sonic Zero and Zero went where the other guys are.
Cain: Strong electromagnetic interferance? They must have sent a special unit... X: Zero, who is he? Zero: No time to explain! Cain: Something outside is using Fox Hunt tech. X: Alia, can you get the ID code of the ones outside us? Alia: It says "18th Independent armored platoon". Cain:The Blackhounds.... Operator come in! *sound only*Alice:Cain? Is that you? Cain: Yeah, its me. Can you get a scan for reploids outside this building? Alice: You're inside a building!! We'll scan way too many things!! Cain: Don't scan for objects, scan for air currents. Alice: There appears to be 6 reploids equipped with EX-ARMS tech.
INCOMMING TRANSMISSION Zeppet: Cain, are you there? Cain: Yeah. X: (this is getting... a little out of reach...) Zeppet: Your new armor is finished. I'll transfer the coordinates here, it may take an hour or so....

"Dang it!" said X," They would have to stage an attack while our main systems are down." X walked over to the main screen and asked Alia to put their image location on view. Zero walked up next to X and said," Well, I guess we'll just have to let CX do his thing while we do ours." X nodded and then turned to the new face who was also looking at the monitor. "Hey, uh..Sonic Zero, you seem to know a lot about these guys. You in for teaching these guys a lesson?" Sonic Zero looked at the man standing before him," So this is the supposed, Mega Man X of the X-Team, huh?" he thought to himself. "Sure." he simply replied. "Alirght, thanks." said X. He then turned to Nana and nodded. She understood and opened the channel and the said," Channel open, X."
X: Alright! X-Team! Let's move out!!! and with that all attacking members warped out to meet this new enemy....
Meanwhile, CX was still fighting with the viruses within the Netowork. With the Navigators help he was making good progress, but as he neared the center, they became more and more stronger. "These guys are starting to annoy me badly." said CX. "Hey Alia you there?" "Reading you loud and clear." replied Alia. "How's everything on your end?" he asked. "Well you've re-activated a lot of the emerengcy systems. Which was in good time too as we have more trouble outside." she said. "Heh, figures." said CX " They always try to attack when you're weak." "We still don't have any of the main systems or defence systems up yet, and we'll need them to back X and everyone up." she said. "Roger, I'm working on it." said CX. "I need you guys to see if you can corner these guys into the main area. I have an idea to end this entire thing, but I'll need your help." "We're on it!" replied Alia!!!
Cain: Great, unmaned armors. X: What? Cain: The Type-SX Archangels. There AI system uses the data of my dna and my friend's dna. X: So, they are as skilled as you? Cain: Their weapons are pretty weak. This woudn't be a problem.

"Good! Then they'll enjoy this! Z-Saber!" shouted Zero while dashing directly in front of the unmaned armors. His Z-Saber quickly slashed the front row in half, all of them falling into pieces. X activated his X-Buster and turned to Cain, "Well, what are we waiting for, an invite?" And with that both them and the rest of the X-Team dash directly into the fray...
Meanwhile at a garden just outside of Den Tech City on the other side two people were in the middle of a battle. The first jumped into the air and fired 2 shots at the other. As soon as the were fired, the second pulled up a barrier that looked like some sort of crystal. It effectively deflected the shots. Both people then pulled out their blades and charged at each other. Their attacks caused sparks to fly in all directions and if it was possible they were increasing their speed of attacks. As the battle continued, it looked it was about to reach the climax as if one slipped on an attack it would be all over. Just as another attack was about to commence and voice shouted," Enough!" Both fighters ended their attacks at once, both blades pointed to a weak spot on the other, a finishing blow for sure. They then went back to normal positions and sheathed their swords, turned in the direction of the voice and bowed. From within the shadow that was cast on the Japanese-style building came a replioid that looked almost as ancient as the building he stood in. "You have both performed well in this lesson."said the figure. Both students said," Thankyou, Master Nine-Tails!" Nine-Tails then dissmissed both students and as they both walked off another figure came from the shadows. "We have received information that the X-Team and some other group is currently fighting just outside where their base is believe to be." "I see. Maverick activity has started to increase recently." replied Nine-Tails. "So it has, brother." replied the figure. Nince-Tails turned his head to acknowledge the figure and said,"I believe that the X-Team can handle this problem, leave them alone for now." "But brother, what if they should try to turn and attack the city?" said the figure. "I do not think that will happen. They are there for another reason, however should they try to attack, then we will go." said Nine-tails. "Just us, alone?" said the figure. Nine-Tail took a couple of steps foward and looked into the sunlight. He didn't say anything for a moment, as if he was in thought. He then turned to the figure and said," Two-Tails my brother, they are learning quickly, but they still do not have the power as of yet to take on a battle on their own. Should the attacks begin before we have predicited, we must fight until they are ready to take the mantle." Two-Tails bowed and said," I understand my brother, I shall continue my recon of the battle." he then dissapeared as quickly as he arrived. Nine-tails simply turned and looked back into the sunlight.
Vertex was tired. The match he just had with Prism was pretty tough. He couldn't believe that Prism had gotten so strong. "You really have been practicing a lot, huh?" he asked. "Yeah. I really want to get as strong as possible as soon as I can. I ust wish that the Tail-Masters would stop going so slow with everyting." replied Prism. "That's just how they are, man. You gotta admit, as strong as they are, they gotta know what they're doing." said Vertex. "Yeah, I guess-" was what Prism was saying, but he was interrupted by another voice that shouted," Cameron!!! Ichimu!!!" Both of the men turned to see a girl running toward them. "Why is Mokoto here? I though she was going into the city." said Prism. "Me too. Hey!!" said Vertex. The girl finally caught up to them and said," Here you go, guys!" and held up to boxes. "What's this?" said Prism. 'It's your lunch, duh!" said Mokoto. " I just finshed them so they're still hot." "Wow, thankyou Moktto." said Vertex who accepted his lunch. Moktto giggled and replied," I'm really glad I was able to finish in time, so you better enjoy them!" All three of them then walked off toward a nearby tree and went to enjoy their lunch.
Cain: That was easy. Sound Only Alia: X come in! X: Yeah? Alia: I found an IFF code of the unmaned armors. It says "18th independent armored platoon". Cain: The Blackhounds... X: Who?

CX had finally gotten as much of the enemy that was attacking the system into one area. "Alia! You and the others get back! You don't want to get caught in this!" said CX "Roger, everyone pull back and give CX his space!" said Alia. And with that everyone started to retreat for attacking. As they did the viruses began to advance and quickly neared CX. "Oh, no you don't! This ends it for you!!!! CYBER HOLD!!!!" shouted CX and as he did, all the viruses froze in there tracks from the oncoming light that surrounded them. "CYBERGEDDON!!!!!" shouted CX and the entire area began to shake. CX's attack sent shockwaves throughouth the entire area causing all the viruses to be deleted as it continued to drain their HP. Before long, the entire area was covered in light and nothing could be seen....
As X head what was going on, both he and Zero knew that they had to get back to the base. Suddenly, X's com came through and Alia said," X! CX just-" but X interrputed and said," We know Alia, we're on our way!" Everyone quickly headed back to the base.
CX though he was dreaming. At least he was pretty sure he was. "What was I just doing...?" he thought to himself. When CX came to he was still in light. He looked around and suddenly he heard his name being called by someone. "Who's there?" said CX. " CX.....it's me" said an unknown figure behind CX. He quickly turned around and saw his father standing before him. ".....Dad?" he said. His father smiled and said, "You did a good job, but it's still not over yet. There's still a lot to do. Don't give up. okay?" said his dad with a smile. CX tried to run toward his dad but he couldn't move. "Dad! Wait!!" was all CX could say as the light slowly dissapeared.
CX awoke in a cold sweat. He looked aound and saw everyone looking back at him, glad that he was alright. "What...happened?" asked CX. "Haha! Well, you nearly scared us there, man." said X. "What?" said CX as he tried to get up. "You better rest for a while. It was hard trying to get you out of there." said Nana. CX looked around and relised he was back outside of the Network. "What happened?" asked CX. "You did, CX!" said Alia. "All systems have returned to normal, thanks to you." she said. "There's still some damage, but it can be easily repaired by tommorow." Everyone seemd happy that it was all over, but CX could only think of his father at that time. He could barly hear X's voice," Hey, you better get some rest here for a while man. You did good!" CX thanked everyone and as they left, he soon fell asleep.
Meanwhile, in some unknown place a person was looking down on his subjects from the throne he was sitting on. "I have not gone though what I have only to stop here." said the unknown figure. "We will proceed as planned. It is time." Four figures quickly bowed and said, "Yes, Master!" in unison. The main figure rose from his throne and looked at his subjects. He then said, "Merix. You will be our messager. Go. Take the Omniloids and show the people of the world that the rule of the Zenith has come!" Merix bowed and said," It will be my pleasure Master! Hahahaha!!!" said Merix and he quickly vanished in a cloud of purple mist. The unknown figure turned to two of the others and said, " You two will go and gather energy. We will need a lot for what is to come." Both of them, bowed and said," As you wish!" before running off. The last one simply rose and look at the Master and said," And what of the Mavericks and this new group that has sprung up?" "Both are of no interest to me. The Mavericks are just insane replioids with no leader now that Sigma has died. Whatever this new group is, I doubt it will pose any threat to my plans. If either come into contact to us, we will simply make them apart of the Zenith." said the Master. The last figure turned and looked into the moonlight that bathed the area and said," You will fight the Federation, the Mavericks, the X-Team-" his master interrupted and said," Yes, and anyone else stupid enough to get in my way! I promised on that day that they all will pay. And they will pay! I am...perfection!" said the Master. "The last figure simply nodded and said," As you wish." and for a second, the moonlight caught a part of the subornates face. All that could be seen was thick armor covering a cold eye.
In another area two doctors were doing research on something that would soon bring a great change to the entire world. "We are getting close" said one. Suddenly a video screen came on. On the other side and woman said," Yes, but we need more data. It will not be enough yet! It still can't cure them." she said. "And who cares!? With this, and some modicatifactions was can simply destory them all!" said one. "No! We can't! You know well that we want to cure the Mavericks! Not kill them!" said the other. "I understand your point, doctors, but look at what we are creating! Dr.Argon, you of all people should understand-" said one. Dr.Argon interrupted and said," No! I want to save my son, not kill him!" The woman on the monitor replied," Please, the both of you. We musn't fight about this. We all agreed when we started this project. We want to save humanity!" she said. The other doctor sighed and said,"You are right. I apologize, Dr.Argon." Dr.Argon nodded and said," It's okay." The woman on the monitor then looked at Dr. Argon and said, " So, Dr.Argon, do you think they will comply to our wish?" Dr.Argon looked down and said," I will be heading there shortly. I will know once I get there. However, I may need to continue our reasearch there." he said. " If that's the case simply call me. I will be happy to continue there. Besides, I have been wanting to get a closer look at those two." said the other doctor. The woman then said," Then we are agreed. I shall meet with you all soon." Dr.Argon turned to the moniter and said," Oh, yes! I have been wanting to know for a while now. What shall we call this new invention?" The woman on the monitor smiled and got up. She then said," I was thinking of something mythical. Like, perhaps....elves......."
A door opened and a large replioid walked though. As he passed through the hall, any soldiers that were in the way, quickly got out of the way and saluted. The replioid turned the corner and came upon a grand entrance. The words on the doors read," Supreme Commander". He entered the room. It was a stark contrast to the hall outside. It was a dark and bluish room. The only lights were some high above him on the ceiling and from the moniters in front of him. As soon as he entered the room he kneeled and said," General Dextron reporting."
From the back of the room, all of the sounds that seemed to be typing and data stream stopped. Then a voice said," At ease, General." General Dextron stood and said," I believe you summoned me." Latches from inside the room were release and a quick flash of light shown from a dome-like area. The Supreme Commander replied," Yes. I have been aprised of the recent Maverick increasements in the area around Den Tech City."
Gen.Dextron: Yes, I have also been informed of that as well. It seems that that area has also stirred other Maverick activity around the world.
As General Dextron looked ahead he saw the shadow of the Supreme Commander. "I want you and the 127th Unit to investigate right away." she said General Dextron replied," The 127th Unit? General Dextron bowed and said," I will inform him and we will leave right away." The Supreme Commander turned and said," Then you may leave." General Dextron quickly turned and headed for the door. However he stopped at the Supreme Commander's last words," General, I have also heard that Mega Man X and many others stay in that area. You can be assured it is not because the deem it the safest place. If Mavericks continue to increase in that area, the world will soon feel the affects. Be careful." Without turning, the General replied," Rest assured Supreme Commander, I will." and with that left the room.

Sky was sitting in a japanese-style room. He was apparently meditating. While he was doing this, Cameron, Ichimu and Mokoto were walking by, talking. Ichimu:...Well, at least we did complete the training. Mokoto: Yeah, thanks again guys. Cameron/Ichimu: No problem. As the walked into the distance, Sky heard his master call him. He got up and walked to the end of the room. "You called master Nine-Tails?" he asked. Ninetails: Yes, are they ready? Sky: They are coming along nicely. Their fighting experience has increased greatly. Ninetails: Good. More Mavericks will be coming. This time, they will have to fight. Sky: I understand. I shall make sure they are ready. As Ninetails dissapeared, Sky turned to look at the group still talking and walking onward. Though he was very happy fro them to have become good friends, he could not help but feel that they would soon be going through some tough times. "I wish you all luck...." he said.
Meanwhile, General Dextron was outside of International Maverick Hunters H.Q. awaiting for his transport plane to arrive. As he was thinking of how he was going to handle his new mission, his subordnate, Cmd.Jet Blade arrived. The Commander stood in front of the General and said," Commander Jet Blade and the 127th Unit, reporting for duty as ordered by the Supreme Commander, sir!!" General Dextron casually looked up and said, " Yes, at ease, Commander." The Commander stood at ease, army style. The General just sighed. "What are our orders sir?" asked the Commander. Gen.Dextron: We are to head to Den Tech City and investagate the recent Maverick increase there. Cmd.Jet Blade: Den Tech City? Isn't that the place where those Irregulars call home, sir? Gen.Dextron: Irregulars? Cmd:Jet Blade: Yes, I believe they call themselves the X-Team, sir. I know their leaders were once revered as strong Maverick Hunters, but- Gen.Dextron: Listen, Cmd.Jet Blade. We are about to go into a place that neither of us has gone to before and we already know that the enemies there will be strong and could possibly be getting stonger. Let's not get off on the wrong foot by calling the people who try to fight for peace there, Irregulars. Okay? Cmd.Jet Blade:...uh.....Yes, sir! Gen.Dextron: Heh, and you don't have to be so formal. That only for the press and the Supreme Commander as far as I'm concerned. Cmd.Jet Blade:...uh......Y-rr..right. As the continued to talk the plane arrived and the Commander, General and their units all headed out for Den Tech City and the battles that will soon change the entire world......
X was glad for some time off. He did some stuff around the base and talked to CX and Sonic Zero about who attacked the base and for what reasons they may have. All in all, they didn't get too far. So they decided to call it off for the day and repair the systems and rest. Sonic and CX decided to stay at the base for the night, so there were two more people wondering around the base. Which in truth didn't bother X and much as the others, especially Zero, even through he should be used to CX. X walked out onto the landing strip on the roof of the base and gazed out to the sea. He sighed. Partly because he was tired, partly because he had a feeling that this was just the beginning of something that was really going to be hard to deal with. Which in all cases, ment another war. X really didn't like fighting. And every time he went out to fight, somewhere in the back of his head, he felt like he was doing something wrong. "Why did the Maverick and other Reploids always want to fight and kill each other in order to reslove problems or prove some point? he though to himself. X was about to think futher on the subject, when a call came through. It was Alia. "X here. Go ahead Alia." Alia: X, I've picked up another siginal. X: Is it Maverick? Alia: No.... X:...huh? Alia: X....It's giving off the same readings as you.
X froze. He knew what it ment and it felt like he was in trouble. Everytime this happened, memories of hi past came flooding back to him. "....A capsule...?", he said. Alia: Yes....by it's signal, there's no mistake. X:.... Alia:....I..haven't told anyone yet. X:........Thanks Alia.. Alia:........X..? How should I proceed? X:........ Alia: X? X:!! Sorry. X Took a breath and as he turned and headed for the Command Room, he said to himself," What's happening this time.......Grandpa....?"
X warped down into waht looked to be some abandoned lab. He looked around and saw that the place was greatly run down, as if he was the firt person to be there in nealy 100 years. His com suddenly broke the silence of the room and Alia spoke," X? Are you alright? Over." X: X here. Yeah, I'm fine Alia. I'm moving out. Alia:Be careful X. I expect all the sensors of that area to go dead like the last time, so I won't be able to spot for you or establish communitations. X: I know. Thanks, I'll notify you when I'm done. X out.
And with that, X headed deeper into the lab. For the most part the area was bleak and dark. Everything was covered in dust and there was nobody around. As X looked around more, the place seemed as if it was attacked long ago, but he couldn't be sure. As he turned the corner he came into a huge room. X slowly walked into the room and looked around. "Nothing." he said. As he walked toward the center of the room, he suddenly noticed blue energy shooting from where he was, outward, as if he stepped on a button. X activated his X-Buster and went into a fighting stance. Suddenly without warning, the entire room turned on. As if someone fliped a light switch. X looked around and noticed that the blue light was all heading toward a glowing orb on the wall. As he approached the orb and robotic voice suddenly echoed throughout the room and stopped X. O.S. Voice: OPERATING SYSTEM ACTIVATED. OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIRES IDNETITY OF USER ATEMPTING TO GAIN ACCESS. OPERATING SYSTEM ACTIVATED. OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIRES IDENTITY OF USER ATEMPTING TO GAIN ACCESS~ X:....User? Suddenly, X helmet activates and his visor activates. Data suddenlt begins to flow across it in front of him. The O.S. suddenly becomes quiet, then it says," OPERATING SYSTEM ACKNOWLEDGES USER. USER ACCESS GRANTED. USER PASSWORD REQUIRED TO ACCESS SYSTEM AREA. OPERATING SYSTEM~ X:...Password? What the heck is that? As X spoke to himself out loud the O.S. stopped as if listening. Then suddenly it said: USER PASSWORD INPUT INCORRECT. OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIRES USER PASSWORD TO ACCESS SYSTEM AREA. USER PASS~ X sighed. This sure was a lot more trouble then the last ones. He wasn't even near the capsule yet. He tried to think. What did he do get the other capsules to open for him...? Maybe it would work to open this door here? He could give it a shot. X walked toward the orb and said," My name is Josh Light. I am Mega Man X." The O.S. stopped talking and became quiet. X just stood there and wondered if he said something wrong. Suddenlt he orb began to glow a bluish-tint and suddenly the room began to shake. X looked foward and he saw the wall in from of him where the O.S. was begin to open. He te heard the O.S. again. O.S.: USER VOICE RECOGNITION PASSWORD ACCEPTED. ACCESS TO SYSTEM AREA, GRANTED. X looked foward past the wall and saw just a blue light. X slowly walked foward and into the light. As he looked around after he entered the room, he saw that the entire area looked very much like the Command Room when Alia and the others were in "Spotting Mode" for everyone when they were in a battle. The entire area was painted blue and bright blue energy was surging around the walls. X looked foward and there standing in the center of the room was the capsule. Created by his Grandpa, Dr.Light and bearing the "X" symbol. Seeing something that his grandpa and dad created put his mind at ease. This was an area that his family had made. It was okay for him to be here. X walked up to the capsule and as he did, it did a scan of his armor systems and opened. As X tood there, the capsule created a hologram and his grandpa appeared before him. Dr.Light:.....Hello, Josh. X: Grandpa.... Dr.Light:.....Josh. If this capsule has become activated, then I fear for your safety. It means that this system has detected a strong power that, as of right now, exceeds yours. X:!!! Dr.Light: Josh, I wanted you to lve in a world where you didn't have to fight. I wanted you to live a normal life and anyone else could. Forgive me for making you fight so much. I pray that someday, you will be able to enjoy peace and live a happy life. However, for now, that is not possible. I am afraid that dark days are ahead of you. Therefore, I will now give you the abilities to stand up and fight for peace.
As X stood there, the image of this grandpa dissapeared and a instead he was replaced with a holorgram of a new armor. As X looked, his grandpa continued:
Dr.Light:Step inside this capsule, and receive a new armor. This armor will allow you futher absorb damage and turn it into pure energy. It abilities to absorb energy will surpass even the Giga Crush! It design was created to mirror the abilities of fighting and therefore, does not have a Buster at all. However, for this exchange you will be able to gather energy and release it in the form of punches and kicks. It will also gather the data of the Hadouken and Shoryuken from your Light and Giga Armors and turn them into even more powerful forms to be used by this armor. Learn to master the art of fighting and obtain the Fighting Spirit Armor!! With this armor, I know you can withstand the battles ahead of you. I know you can to do Josh....no.....Mega Man X!!
As the hologram of the Doctor dissapeared, X took a breath and stepped into the capsule. The capsule began to spin and wirl with energy and suddenly, X was bathed in light. X could suddenly feel the energy surging through him as his norma armor was replaced with the Fighting Spirit Armor. When the armor was finally completed, X's crystal shone with energy and his systems acknowledged that he had completed the armor. X rasied his fist in victory! He then stepped out of the capsule and turned around to face the capsule, clothed in this new armor. Once again, Dr.Light appeared.
Dr.Light: X. I know you have the ability to end what is about to start. I believe in you abilities, you can bring this to a peaceful end. Good luck, X!
And with that, Dr.Light dissapeared and the capsule closed and lost it's energy. X looked around and saw that the whole room had lost it's energy and was not as dark as the outside of the area he first entered into to.
X: Well, time to head back I guess. Thanks, Grandpa!
And with that X walked off back to the base.........
